Boy went missing for nearly two hours

A young boy, who was around six years old, went missing from Brighton Beach at around 2.30 pm on April 8th. The incident was reported to Sussex Police, who then initiated a search for the missing boy.

Police conducted a search

The police dispatched a large number of officers and police cars to search for the missing boy along the coast. A search operation was carried out with the assistance of other emergency services and the public.

Boy found safely

Sussex Police reported that the missing boy was located safely in Brighton shortly after 4.30 pm, after a two-hour search. Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Westwood thanked the public, emergency services partners and the officers involved in the search operation. The boy was reunited with his family after being found.
