Trump’s Denial of Charges

Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, is facing charges of financial misconduct in a Manhattan criminal court in New York City. Trump is being charged on 34 counts, which are related to payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels. In response to these charges, Trump has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

During the trial, scandalous details emerged, including allegations that Trump had an affair with Playboy model Karen McDougal. The prosecutors claimed that she received $150,000 to keep quiet about the affair. This was reported by the Daily Mail.

The Scandalous Case Against Trump

The case against Trump has the potential to be a major scandal. According to the Manhattan district attorney, representatives of Trump paid $150,000 to Karen McDougal to keep quiet about the affair. Additionally, Swiss Trump Tower employee Dino Sadjudin was paid not to reveal Trump’s illegitimate child from a former housekeeper.

The National Enquirer, which is owned by Trump’s company, American Media Inc., reportedly bought the story of McDougal’s 10-month affair with Trump, but never published it. Sadjudin was paid $30,000, and a contract was signed which forbade him from revealing the story to anyone else, under penalty of a $1 million fine.

David Pecker, the former CEO of American Media Inc., admitted that he did this to help Trump’s presidential campaign. However, the former housekeeper denied having a relationship with Trump, and Sadjudin’s wife called him a “serial liar”.

Trump’s lawyers claim that he was unaware of the payments until after the deal was made.

Possible Consequences for Trump

Although the charges against Trump are minor criminal offenses, each count carries a potential sentence of up to four years in prison. If found guilty on all charges, it is unlikely that he will be sentenced to a long prison term.

While there is no formal charge of conspiracy, the facts disclosed by the prosecution suggest that Trump “orchestrated a scheme” with others to influence the 2016 presidential election by buying negative information about himself.

The Alleged Affair with Karen McDougal

Karen McDougal has previously spoken out about her alleged affair with Trump. In a 2018 interview, she stated that she had sex with Trump in 2006 at a bungalow in the Beverly Hills hotel. This was long before Trump began his political career, but after his marriage to Melania. The affair with Karen reportedly began soon after she gave birth to their son Barron.

Despite her guilt over the affair, Karen continued to communicate with Trump for most of the year. She even visited Trump’s famous apartments in Trump Tower, but was taken aback when he showed her Melania’s bedroom.

“I think I was just eager to get out of the apartment. Doing something so wrong is already bad enough, but when you do it in someone else’s home, it hits you right in the heart. I just couldn’t wait to get out of there. I wanted to go back to my hotel room,” Karen admitted in the interview.

Trump denies having an affair with Karen. Nonetheless, the allegations surrounding his conduct have been a cause of concern and have led to serious charges against him in Manhattan criminal court. As the trial progresses, more details are likely to emerge, and it remains to be seen what the consequences will be for Trump.
